Henry's newest expression

Was able to catch Henry's favorite expression as of late. He crinkles his nose and blows hard in and out, in and out. And we cross our fingers that there's no boogies up there cause after he does it, they don't stay up there, if you know what I mean. :) Just thought I'd share. :)

What do I do with this?

As I mentioned in the last post, Henry's been fascinated with the kitchen cabinets lately. Earlier this month I got some great pictures of him finding all my pumping supplies. Here's what I imagine him thinking in each of these pictures.

"Hm, I've never seen this before."

"I think I need to flip it around."

"Yep, that's it. Can I get a martini for this?"

"Mommy thinks I'm adorable!"

Yep, you're right. :)

A little bit of spring

Yesterday, I got together at a park with some work friends that have babies about the same age as Henry. The weather held out for us and we actually got a few glimpses of sunshine to play around in. Henry crawled around on the grass, ate some dandelions, and gnawed on some sticks. Now that's a good time! :)

Here's another picture of us trying to enjoy the nice weather. We had a family picnic in the backyard, but Henry wanted nothing to do with the food and staying on the blanket. I mean, who wants food and blanket if you can have dandelions and grass?!

Henry is doing great. Growing like crazy and getting closer to walking. Daniel had to put locks on the cabinet the other day because Henry loves playing in the kitchen cabinets now -- I'll post more about that in the next post. He finds everything interesting, especially those things that he probably shouldn't play with and has an amazing attention to detail. He'll look at an empty container for at least ten minutes, checking out how exactly it's put together and loves inspecting the bottoms of the container. Maybe he'll be an engineer. Daniel thinks an physicist.

We've got 5 weeks till he's one. Time has flown and yet I feel like I can't remember a time when we didn't have him in our lives. I guess that's a sure sign of happiness and love.

He's up from his nap -- gotta go! Try to stay dry!
